Constantly labeled as the guy who loves musicals, and movies no one's heard of…pisses me off?
All of my friends and ppl I go to school with label me as the guy who loves musicals and old movies no one has ever heard of. I’m not denying the fact that there are musicals that I like, and I do like old movies, but the label is too far in my mind…..I’ve seen maybe about maybe maximum 20 musicals total. There are literally thousands of musics out there I haven’t see or heard of. I listen to more cast albums then actually watching the movie of a musical. But yet on facebook when that stupid social program asks "what type of movies does ____ Like?" Ppl always say musicals and old movies no one has heard of. I just don’t like people saying musicals are my favorite types of movies when I haven’t even seen that many, and actually more then 50% of them I can’t stand!
As for the old movie part that no one has heard of….that I find disgraceful towards the reputation of teenagers. I just was hanging out with my friend today and I said "Let’s watch jumanji!" and she’s like "what’s that? Oh it must be one of those old movies you like to watch."…..Jumanji is a really famous movie…..like why are there so many kids out there who haven’t heard of the classics! The Goonies, Big, Mr. Holland’s Opus….etc. Movies like Lemony snicket, meet the fockers, and Freaky friday are movies that kids fit under the catorgories of old movies that he watches the no one’s ever heard of!
Is it just me, or are kids totally way off track these days? Like Sorry I don’t only like stuff made after 2008!
Don’t be what you are not, what you like is your own business, friends would understand that.

If they’re really your friends, when they say that, they don’t think you’ll get this upset. They’re probably just kidding around.
If your friends haven’t heard of "Meet the Fockers" or "Freaky Friday", get some new friends, because they must be really clueless.
