Does anyone know where I can watch Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II online?
someone else asked me a very similar question recently, and i am going to paste what i told her to you, as it can change your entire life as far as watching movies goes. actually what she asked me was how to BURN a dvd, but the following information is what you are looking for to watch Hellraiser, etc.
The first thing you need to do is become familiar with bit torrents. A simple google search of "bit torrent" will turn up nearly 50 million results, so there is plenty of info there.
Then you want to download a Bit Torrent Client. I use Azureus, it is fast, free, and simple. And after you have that installed you can then start downloading WHATEVER YOU WANT.
You can search and download among many bit torrent sites, but I like torrentspy.com, torrentbox.com, mininova.org, and isohunt.com.
Go to TorrentSpy.com and search for a program called "ConvertXToDvd". You will get many results, get one that comes with a "Keygen". Keygen stands for Key Generator, and it creates a serial code for you so you dont have to pay $30. Once you install this and open it, go to the "unlock" screen where you enter the serial code, and then go back to the folder and open the keygen. type in the serial number and the program is yours.
Now you are ready to get movies. Go back to one of the torrent sites and find the movie you want. It should be about 700-800MB and you always want to get it as an AVI file. Also try to get the ones that say "DvDRip" somewhere in the title, because that means youre getting a quality movie ripped directly from a DVD, as opposed to something ghetto such as a camcorder in a theater style movie. As soon as you click "download torrent" it will immediately be on your desktop. Once you open it from your desktop it will open in Azureus and start downloading. Be sure to open Options and change your TCP and UDP ports to something between 50,000-60,000 [makes everything faster]. Once the movie is downloaded, open up ConvertXToDvd, and add the movie to your burn list. When I do this, I burn four movies onto each DVD+R, but that’s up to you to decide. If you do want to burn multiple movies, make sure you go into your options and turn Menu on, that way you can select which movie you want to play on the DVD. You can also customize and add a picture as your menu background, and you can have the menu say "Lindsey’s DVDs" or whatever. After that you click "Convert" and it converts the AVI files to VOB files and then burns them onto your DVD+R. I have a 16x speed DVD burner, but I ALWAYS keep the setting on 4x, because even though it is slower and takes a bit longer, it insures that i have zero skips on my disc. When you successfully do all of this once, you will never look back. If you saw my DVD collection you would be speechless.
As far as your home dvd players-
They probably do play DVD+R. Its POSSIBLE that they don’t, but my DVD+R’s have been in about five different brands of DVD players, plus a Playstation 2 and an Xbox, and they have always worked fine.
I have never used Sonic RecordNow, but I looked it up, and from what I gathered it is a program for burning DVD data files, not image files. I may be wrong, since I only spent about 60 seconds reading about it. But if that is the case, that would explain why it works on your computer only, because your computer can read data and then interpret that into images, such as on Windows Media Player or whatever. DVD players have to actually see the image on the disc.
Also, Bearshare is a good program, very similar to Limewire [which is what I use for music], but neither is recommended for getting movies. It takes much longer than bit torrents, has no user feedback [meaning you cant read other peoples' comments about how good the quality video/audio is], and sometimes when it says youre getting one thing, youre really getting something completely different. A lot of the ghetto camcorder recorded movies end up in fileshare programs [such as Bearshare & Limewire].
Enjoy your movies. =)
