i don't know what to do with my pentecostal girl friend i'm not religious?

my girlfriend is pentecostal she said she had the holly ghost and all but i think that stuff is fabricated i don’t believe it. i think its for people that want to fit into something and feel their better then all the rest and blame stuff on god and the devil instead of them themselves or just realizing that some things happen bad or good cuz of human nature(shit happens). A few months ago one of her old church people got hit by a car he lived i think his back is messed up, but he went to church all the time why did god want to hurt him, he was close to god. My girlfriend’s friend a year ago about got some sort of cancer in her jaw and had to get a face reconstruction. She was part of the same church too but stopped attending for a little bit before the jaw thing. The jaw thing happened then they were saying she got it cuz god wanted to punish her for not coming often to church. What is that isn’t god suppose to love us no matter what? and why didn’t they say anything when that guy got hit by a car. what i think is shit happens they just want to point there finger at something. i could go on and on about other things but i don’t want you guys reading forever. The thing is that i don’t really believe in jesus and all but i think their is a higher power out their but i don’t no what it is, and i don’t think it has a place for use when we die i think there’s nothing more after we die. My girl friend has not been to church for like year and a half years i think we have been going out for that time. don’t think im holding her from church cuz im not. Recently i read a face book chat that she had with one of her church girls. it was about how my girl friend is having dreams of her teeth falling out in one dream and a guy with a sword chasing her in another. so the girl said to her its god bringing death to her for leaving the church and joining satin. their was more, but reading this made me sick i started to cry. my girl is getting braces that is why she is having teeth dreams and the man with the sword is cuz she is scared, the mind is funny it fabricates thing. My girl friend is afraid now. i don’t care see believes in god, but i don’t like this pentecostal thing it puts you in a state of fear its crazy!!!!!! I grew up catholic and when i use to believe i wasn’t in that state of fear. i was brought up that god loves you no matter what. as time goes i don’t know what to do i love her but i can’t be a part of that sort of church and if we had kids together i don’t want my children to grow up with that fear and craziness. i’m not a be liver and im happy im cool with it i don’t care if i don’t go any were when i die, i’m dead what do i care, what mater to me is real time and in not a bad guy at all. I do want my kids to grow up in the catholic fate tho cuz it will help them learn morales and to respect there fellow man. the catholic fate cuz you don’t jump around like a fool and say stuff like your going to burn in eternity for having sex before marriage and you joined satin for not going to church!!!!! i just don’t know what to do i want to turn her on to the catholic religion cuz its calm and for the sake of the children we might have in the future cuz i know that would bring the family apart and i want my kids to have their parents together im sorry writing so much and writing it incorrectly but i had a lot to say and want you to understand were im coming from.. what can i do?

You can’t force someone to change faith just because you think yours is the better way. You may not like/understand her beliefs but what if she asked you to change yours????

Before you get very serious with this girl, you have to decide if your willing to spend the rest of your life living and doing appropriate religious activities. This is probably the hardest decision. I used to be very religious and I’m not anymore because I have changed my views, but I tell you from experience that when a person believes like this, there is little to change their minds. If you chose to follow the religion, then your children will also be wrapped up in this. I think if you don’t feel like her then your best bet is to leave this moment. However, if you want to work it out, then throw yourself at the feet of God and immerse your mind and soul into the Bible. Go to church with her and all church functions. I wish you everything you want in this relationship.

Oh my dear there is so much I could say so good of you to get it all out first your girlfriend is naive and has a lot to learn about having a relationship with Jesus he is ever loving and God did not let those people suffer for not being at church or something they have done as punishment that is not how he operates and if you are of the catholic faith and she is pentecostal the bible said how can two walk together except they agree and if she married`s you and keeps her faith and you keep your`s your home will be divided and will not be able to stand ,dreams are just that dreams we seem to want to associate everything to satan and his doing we give him to much credit it is really are own ignorance and the bad choices we make that can cause all the pain and sickness in our lives and not knowing God for our selves and what his word really means for us as a individual he wants to be personable with us ,pentecostals can be a little emotional with their expression of the spirit on them we must understand that all don`worshiped the same but the basics should be there loving God and man as your self ,I hope i was some help
