I doubt it.
Well, see, I don’t see any diseases that would impact us so much that we turn into zombies.
I don’t see how that gene mutation would work, because zombies have nothing human in them except for their body. Their mental capability only goes as far as thinking "I need human meat".
However, with all these new diseases that I see emerging, it might be possible that there is just one small disease that does alter genes in such a way. Maybe not so extreme, but it could lead us to be maybe aggressive or something. And humans get to thinking "zombies", so even if it’s not that extreme, we’d make it extreme by shooting all those diseased instead of trying to help them.
But to answer your question, it could possibly happen, but it seems so odd right now. that’s all.

why do soo many people want their to be a zombie apocalypse?? everyone u kno and love will DIE. it’s not like those cliche movies where the main characters kick zombie a$$ and win in the end. and its not going to be like resident evil. more like left 4 dead….minus the free weapons, ammo, and a helicoptor to take you to safety after each round T_T

I think so. You never know what governments are planning, do you? U.N. said a while back (don’t know if I’m right, so weigh with a grain of salt) that they had aims to reduce world population. Umm…So, if you’ll excuse my craziness…

It is happening right now. It is called addiction from crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin. Those turned into zombies by these narcotics are gone, there is no hope for them. Rehab is a lie and designed to just take your money. These zombies are better off dead.
Those who sell them the narcotics and traffick it to our shores deserve to be roasted on an open fire like chestnuts.
The zombies are already here.
